attention: this year, texas a&m's freshman class is made entirely of 12 year olds. it's a fact.

also: mtv sucks. they've almost managed to convince me NOT to vote this fall. apparently the way to motivate young voters is to make them choose between voting and having pdiddy pop a cap in their proverbial asses. give me a freaking break.

  • i don't understand what about John Kerry's campaign is all that much different from W's. I read through both of their platforms on their websites and Kerry has no procedures for following through. It seems to me like his whole stance is "vote for me if you don't like that guy" and W's is "vote for me and I'll keep doing what I have been doing, and that's good"

  • can you blame them for trying to get them to vote? honestly over the last 20 years mtv has come out to be the leading authority on what's cool and what's not for that demographic (business school word), including marketing. they tried something similar in '96 and '00, but not much was done and on a very smaller scale than for this election. wait and see how many of that age-group voters turn out.
